Thanks for all the replies! After some playing around I was able to load each .git folder individually. I'm guessing because they each contain the "config", "description" and "HEAD" files. It seems that the parent directory, that has all of these .git subdirectories in it, should also have...

I currently have it all in a root folder. When I point Git to that folder it says it's not a repository.

A client sent us a ZIP of their Git repository. Basically it's a ZIP that had a TAR inside. Extracting that TAR gives me a bunch of folders with .git at the end of the folder name. Each subfolder from there contains folders with "branches", "hooks", "info", "objects" and "refs". There are also...

Changing over to AMD from nvidia, how do I remove drivers fully?

I just switched from AMD to nVidia. All I did was Uninstall all AMD software in the control panel and delete the AMD installation folder. Power down the PC, replace the AMD card with the nVidia card. Power on PC Install nVidia drivers.

Volkswagen confuses me...

I've driven my fair share of 1.8t/2.0t-engined VWs. But ultimately they are different cars with different purposes than a large family cruiser. I guess I just have a different definition of what constitutes a "shitty" car than you. /shrug

question about car insurance.

And as others have said, you don't need to notify your insurance company first- unless they are shady :P There is generally some grace period. Obviously I would just call and verify what the period is first. We have State Farm and bought our car on a Saturday. I just called them Monday...
