K8V SE Deluxe with AMD 64 3200+

look i no i got it to that becasue it said it when u got to properties under my computer. it might have been just an error but it said that. since my hard drive is messed up and randomly reboots it been saying weird stuff, but i am sure i got it to 2.79 on air.

hey man i have the same board and had the same chip dont u love the combination and the overclocking ability??? i got mine to 2.8 on air cooling. (7 fans in the case) it ran so good i have 1 gig of corsair xmspc3200 which helped alot.

Cooling + OC'ing Athlon XP 2500+{UPDATE (new result and temps)}

i would go with water cooling to contain those temps. if ur not sure of how to do it, ull need a pump, radiator, cpu water block, and a resovior. here is a sight that can help u a great deal and has a great forum www.water-cooling.com

AMD 64 SPEED CONFUSION!!!

ya im sorry to say but im confused to... when i was with intel, it was so much easyer to understand because it was all so simple to get and no confusing mb thi and ghz that. but amd is defanatly superior to intel

hey guys thanks for the help i fixed it, i had to reinstall the agp drivers and the chipset drivers. now im getting 20719 for stock benchmark scores thanks

Watercooling w/ Newcastle or Clawhammer CG?

when u say ur ram does 260 is that what u put ur fsb to say from 200 and ur overclocked from 200 to 260???

cheaper/slower amd64 cpus for 939

id go with the 754 it is almost the same without supporting the dual channel ram and thats like to only difference

amd 3400+

no those scores are so low and my intel p4 2.4c even beat that at stock speeds so ill have to fiddle with it when i get home

XP-M @ 2.4 vs A64 3000+

i have overclocked my a64 3200+ with air cooling to 2.65 with an zalman cpl al7000a or what ever u call it(at school and cant remember the name of it) i can get much higher with the water cooling i am about to put in. id go with the a64 it deffinetly has an edge to the mobile xps

my 3400 is stock speed and it has 512 L2 cache and runs at 2.4ghz. i think that u might be thinking of the older 3400+ with the 1 mb L2 cache

THERMALRIGHT XP-120 on a MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum?

id go with a zalman cnp ula 7000a it is very quite and keeps it very cool on highest level

if ur going to go with a p4 u might as well get the 925 it is the best they have out right now and it is comparable with the 3200+ i believe but is like a 150 bucks more according to some sources iv herd from.

Need help building friends computer

a 400 would be good. thermaltake has really nice one for 62 dollars here http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/...jsp?ProductCode=370555 that is the one i got and it is dead silent. that is better than the first one u picked out and thermaltake is a reliable company good luck
