Trouble installing Athlon XP 2500 chip

It could be a crap power supply. That's what happened to me recently. Machine starts up, but no video. Definitely wasn't the video card. Had a feeling it was the PSU. Got a quality Antec one and everything works.

What is a good CPU cooler for P4 2.8C?

Thanks for the recs. Also Mucker, are you saying that the Asus utility does not report the correct temperatures? I indeed have an Asus motherboard. Should I add about 10C to the reading that I see?

The Power supply I was using was crap. I got no video and was pretty pissed. Got an Antec power supply and it fixed the problem.
