Haswell overclocking discussion.

I pushed the OC Genie button on my Z87 Mpower max which OC'd the chip to 4.2 and I've been runnin on that since day 1 :)

I wonder how the performance would change if I moved one of the SSD drives to a 1x slot, I guess its time for some testing... Thanks for the help!

Negative, just those 3 cards. So to understand this, these slots share 16x? I was under the impression that each slot was capable of 16x and the rest were 1x on this mobo. Are there any bios changes I can make to force 16x?

Z87 MPower MSI, correct port speed?

I have a GTX680 and the port is reporting X8 2.5 GT/s is that the correct speed? I also have 2 OCZ PCIe SSD drives and one of them is reporting X4 5.0 GT/s and the second is at X4 2.5 GT/s. This seems a bit off to me, is this also right? All 3 cards are plugged into the X16 slots.

Haswell 4770 vs. 4770k

So is the consensus that the non K version is better for someone that will not overclock? For my needs I don't really see a need for OC'ing a chip, I just do some casual gaming and web browsing. I'm still on a i7 940 and things run very well, I'm only upgrading because my MOBO is dying. Since...

SSD isn't mind blowingly fast, Actually slower than 3 x Raptor HDD Raid Array

Realistic date for walk in store and pick up Haswell (4770k) in Toronto, Can. Anyone?

I have a i7 940 and my MB is dying slowly, some USB ports stopped working among other issues. I have a microcenter close to my house and they have the 3770K for $229, although price is not an issue I'm wandering if I should try to hold off for a few months or just get a 3770K rig... And whats...

So my computer won't turn on this morning

Its not under warranty anymore, I've unplugged the PSU multiple times and also pulled out my pcie SSD drives from the mobo but it still does the same thing.

So my computer won't turn on this morning

I press the power button and nothing, when I look at the motherboard I see a green LED that is faintly flickering. Is it possible the PS gave out or would it be the mobo? The system is about 3 years old and I havent had any issues until now. If it is the mobo I guess I will have to replace...

Nvidia WHQL Drivers Due in afew days!

I bought the EVGA GeForce GTX680 SuperClocked a week ago to replace a 2 year old card. By the sound of this thread is it something I should return in exchange for a different card?
