Wireless networking range ?

you are lucky to be able to connect wirelss in "your" own house! I say around 100ft or 2 story with about 20% signal strength!! next door neighbor?? forgot it!

NVIDIA!!! I can't believe they're holding back on the ti 4200's!

I have both a Ati Radeon aiw and Radeon 8500, all the driver since last Nov work just fine with absolutely no problem at all, so if you don't know crap or use Ati recently, but rather just read something from the web and decide to bsing along with other! just shut up!

Radeon 8500 for $130..or.... GF4 Ti4400 for $235?????

and if you can afford to , might as well get a 4600! Radeon 8500 for $130 of course, anything 4400 can Radeon can! by the time if you feel R8500 is no longer fast enough, I am sure the $100 saving can buy a Ti 4600 with change!!

Price of VG191 Viewsonic is going up!

I was tracking the price of Viewsonic VG191 hoping it will go down some! the best price was buy.com at $936, but this morning when I check, it go up to $1296!!! after giving them a call and trying to found a answer or match price! the sales rep will only say that their Viewsonic price is link...

AMD XP 1700+ Temps..Are they alright?

I think the reason some are getting temp in 50's or 60's is 2 fold 1. the case internal temp, depend on if they have mid or full case! 2. what kind of mb do they use, they take temp reading differently. I think the important reading is the difference between case tem and the cpu temp, in my...

You don't need the installation cd, go to the ati web site and just download the latest driver/mmc software, they don't reaquire you to have the cd in order to install!! except the dvd player!

I agree, spending money on lcd is money well spend, unlike cpu/video card, where u will likely to upgrade every 6mo/yr, quality monitor will last yrs in comparison! however, I do see a drop in price for 17in and above lcd, when you see the huge gap between 15in $300/400 to 17in/18in $775/995...
