SLI problem with DVI

I can't get my Dell 2001FP monitor to work with SLI and DVI connection. I've read other people having problems with SLI and DVI connections, but i've also seen some people getting it to work. Is there a certain patch that enables DVI in SLI mode, or anything else that will enable it? XP home...
