odd problem

Ok I've got a bad tyan tiger motherboard, so I replaced it. When I turn the power switch on to the powersupply the processor fans start spinning, and do not stop. If you hit the power button the hard drives, everything else spins up but no video is displayed. I've tried swapping memory and...

Performance Problems

Ya, thats about what your scores should be. I have not tried Q4 yet, but make sure it's up to date, and in the video card settings turn AA and AF off, and try turning off vertical sync.

New computer troubles

Did you get all the windows updates? I think you are going to have to reinstall anyways, then get the updates asap. I had a similar problem when I built a friend a system with an X2 4400 in it.

Reformatted my primary hard drive, now my secondary hard drive doesn't show up

Yea, I had something similar happen to me a few months back. The drive just stopped showing up in windows. I used a program called Get Data Back to pull the info off the drive, reformated it and it works fine. I'm not keeping anything valuable on that drive any more to be safe.

Ask your local intel rep next time he is in your store. They usually have codes on boxes of stuff they give out. I only work part time so I usually miss him, but If I catch him I'll be sure to grab a few codes. I'd donate some if I could, I think I'm sitting on 17k points :)

Replaced motherboard, gets fried, methinks PSU culprit.

you can pick up a powersupply tester at compusa for like $15, or you can go the old fashion way. If they have a repair shop in your store you can usually bring in the powersupply and get them to test it there.

Connectivity problems with OfficeJet 7410

that sucks... I've set up a 2710 over wireless, the only problem I can remember is that I needed to download the latest drivers from HP's website to get it the install working. (It should be a several hundred mb file if i remember) If still no help call HP back and ask for their escalation...

course #1, double check all the connections and cards, and make sure if there is a switch on the back of the supply it is turned on. Second I would check to make sure the case switches are all hooked up in the right spot and on correctly. If that doesn't fix the problem you can pull of the...

Connectivity problems with OfficeJet 7410

with their newer printers you are supposed to be able to use memory cards / scanner over the wireless. This should include yours, you may want to send it to hp for replacement(or take it back to the store if that's still an option)
