nForce3 S939 > Can I use 4 RAM modules and overclock?

Yes but those KHX have either BH5 or CH5. CH5 do boot at CL3, so if they boot they are CH5, if not they are BH5. Anyway both chips are great. They love voltage

BH5 is probably the best ram ever made along with Samsung TCCD. As I told you, try them to boot at CL3 if they don´t boot, they are BH5. This mems rate at 250 2-2-2-5 at 3.3volts, and even 280 2-2-2-5 at 3.6volts. Don´t worry about over volting them, this are made to last. Greetings.

You should take of the heatspreaders on your ram modules, there´s a possiblility ther are running Winbond BH5. This means they´ll blow any "high" rated DDR´s ass. Theres no roof for BH5 just lack of voltage. A way of seing if they are BH5 without taking the heatspreaders is trying to boot...

Are people shying away from Ballistix?

I´ve tried both Samsung TCCD and Winbond BH5, and this are the greatest mems I´ve ever tried. Why don´t you pick a pair of OCZ PC3200LL rev.2? They have Samsung TCCD rated at 2-2-2-5 400mhz, but they can make without being overclocked 500mhz on tight timings (this are 4ns chips).

How high do think this chip will go?

If you want a stable and cool processor, just should try this setup. 166x12 1.5v (2000mhz), I´ve managed to work at this configuration for a year date (24/7). In fact this proccesor is a great overclocker, I´ve even managed to take it to 2460mhz (246x10, and even higher fsb with lower multpliers...

i don't understand why people format in the age of 200 gig hard drives

He thought that if you would install two copies of windows "side by side" he could Raid 0. Maybe you can buy 100 2gb HD, you install Windows on all hundred hard drives, and when one OS is corrupted, you throw it out and install hard drive number 2 (that would sound like side by side, depending...
