hmm i recently bought another 512 stick of ram pc 3200(cosair). so i put it in my other ram slot for a total of 1 gb ram of pc 3200. but on the start of my comp it saids memory: ddr 333 (pc 2700) i was like wtf? when i take out 1 ram that it would b only 512mb pc3200 it says ddr 400 which is...

my comp specs: AMD 64 2800+ 754 socket 512 ddr400 kingston ram Abit NF8V mobo gefoRce 5700 le oc well my friend built this comp for me like 4 months ago. it runs pretty good until today =/. as i was gaming, i heard like a pop sound from my computer. so i check it out . i took my side case...

thx, how do u tell which chipsets are better? and also do u guys know what amd athlon xp processor i can get for around 90 in store not on line? i looked at frys online but they either only had amd 64 posted up or semprons. which i kinda dun liek semprons.

Bios problem...

well my mobo is ASUSTeK Computer INC. A7S266VX REV 1.xx analyzed from belarc and the sound is like kinda of scratchy and also both vid and sound card r integrated well thx for ur help but i solved the problem now i bought a new sound card n i disbaled everything else
