The X1950 requires 30A on a 12V rail, look at the website. How does that change your answer? Is this PSU enough when it only has 18A per rail and uses only 1 rail?

By no means am I an electrician, and I am probably restarded, but: Can a PSU (GameXStream 700W) that has 4x 18A 12V rails handle video cards that need one single 30A 12V rail? When not using the other rails is the power distributed? Does the PSU have 72A available in total amongst the 4 cables...

A8R32 Deluxe HT/HTT question

Can someone shed some light here. I am used to my old K8N Neo2 which allows you to change FSB to 100-300+, then HTT from 1-5x, and cpu mutiplier from 1-12 or whatever. This board is confusing me though, since it has clock rates for HT clock. How should this be set in relationship with everything...

Excellent, thanks for the response. Now anyone game to answer the question about 1.1ns memory? Why can't red or green use the memory at the spec of 900MHz? Usually we end up overclocking memory, not underclocking, right?

I appreciate anyone responding, but no one is answering my questions. I will overclock it to see if I can get XTX speeds, and if so will flash it. That isn't the question though: Are there timings differences between the two binaries? If they are the same boards sans BIOS, why can XTX's...

So, 'tis my understanding that largely the XT and the XTX are the same board. I myself have confirmed that my XT comes with 1.1ns memory which matches that of the XTX. That said, is there a timing difference between them that prevents XT's from overclocking as far as the XTX? Or, is it a yield...

warm boot, cold boot

Recently my system (XP Pro) started crashing upon the desktop loading after a warm boot. Now this happens every single time that I try to do a warm reboot. However, after a cold reboot it is fine, until a warm reboot again. Does anyone have any idea what the $%#@ that is all about? Thanks! BTW...

Ok, I guess I answered my own question, the SATA performance I was refering to was also from the SB450 Sbridge... I guess the only complaint then is the slow USB 2.0, which isn't really that big of a deal. With the SB600 quite a while away, not sure it is worth the wait. Any ideas what else...

Hey wonky, THanks for the info, one thing though... Notice that SATA performance was 377Mb/s versus NF4's 440ish... This seems significantly worse, isn't it? Am I reading that wrong?
