I have a 20 year old PAL video tape (family stuff) which I found only recently. Since the VCR I have plays only NTSC format tapes, what would be the cheapest way to watch that tape?
The only things that I could think of -
1. A store that would convert the tape to DVD.
2. Buy a VCR/VCP...
I had the same problem and this is how I solved it. It took a while to do figure out the right way, but at last it was all done.
1. Disconnect the IDE HDD cable If you have one. You have to do this.
2. Boot with the XP CD.
3. After you see the setup screen, in the bottom it askes to press...

Do any other companies have lifetime warranties....?

2. Usually comes slightly overclocked.
3. Great customer support.
4. Lifetime warranty.
5. Any damage to the card as a result of you overclocking it = included in warranty.
6. 90 day step up option in case a newer card comes out...
