I'm not a big fan of it in games like Call of Duty 4 because you are shot in modern combat. You either get medical assistance or die. In a futuristic game like Halo 3 or Gears it's a bit more believable.
I played it for about 30 minutes. I would have liked to have less vehicle play and more platforming. I ran into a mission where you had to push 4 soccer balls into the net but the turning on the vehicles is so touchy that you can't really navigate very easily and it became tedious very...
Looks like it's either your processor or video card if it's the 320mb version. I have a Q6600 and 8800GT running it at that resolution on High with AA on.
I don't mind them as long as I don't look at what I have to do to get them and get them by naturally playing the game My room mate is obsessed with getting every achievement in every game so that means him playing the same levels over and over again to get some random achievement that doesn't...
I think the art style is head and shoulders above Crysis. For sheer graphics wankery Crysis still wins and will continue to win for quite awhile. I will say I am more engrossed in FO3 than I ever was in Crysis.
I'll glance through 1up but that only gives me a base on how the game could be. I tend to listen to Shacknews reviews more. No rating. Just info.
The Fallout 3 review is pretty spot on from what I've played so far.
I guess I compare the PS3 experience to PC gaming more than 360 so it does all I want it to right now. I really don't like matchmaking in my games because I might want to play regular deathmatch but keep getting put into shotty snipers in Halo 3 (worst gameplay mode ever). I want to be able to...
MGS4 is the ONLY game that has required two log in names and it was panned for it pretty badly. I do agree that was pretty dumb on Konami's part.
I use the same user name for all my online Playstation games and I haven't played MGS4 online because of the extra unnecessary log in.
I did...
The problem with that is they don't run dedicated servers. They are just a match making service and leave the games to be hosted by gamers that pay to use the service. That's why in Halo 3 the host can put their modem in standby to prevent people from playing and they can rack up free kills...
Without mods Oblivion was really boring. That's my main concern with Fallout 3 since the story to Oblivion was so terrible I'm not sure if they can tell a good 'Fallout' story.
I know the Project Lead was the guy that did the Assassin's Guild quest line which was pretty awesome so there is...
I knew the game play would be more like Oblivion. V.A.T.S. is how I'll be playing most of the game, I think. Real time combat in Oblivion was pretty meh because it just had no 'weight' to it. The V.A.T.S. system is how Black Isle's Fallout 3/Van Bruen was going anyhow with movement being free...
