Logitech MX518 Gaming Optical Mouse $30 @ Buy.com

I switched from a mx500 to a g5 and i wish i got the mx518 instead. Laser is not as refined as optical technology imo as this mouse skips on surfaces my mx500 had no problem on (such as a func pad). ESreality did a mouse round up recently here and the mx518 did much better than the g5.

DOOM3 - a word about the game...

Yeah the game is well, scarey ;P I was a little disappointed in the gun department. Am I the only who feels that well, the pistol, machine gun, chain gun, and shot gun were made under powered? Not to the extent of the amount of damage but they just look and sound like weak guns. I play a lot...

This board gets even better... There is no CAS 2! lol, only cas 2.5 and 3! I ended up putting my old 1800+ in here for now! Way to go abit, last time i buy your product. Go asus! ;P But do you really think newegg would let me return it if i was "confused" and thought it was a NF7-S Version...

Yep, its at 200Mhz FSB and 1.2Ghz... This coming from Abit! :( and Newegg has "return for exact item" crap on it. There better be a driver update soon.

Wow i bought a abit nf7-s2 or whatever and WOW, no mutlipliers..... wtf talk about a waste. Now my mobile 2600+ is running at a whooping 1200Mhz, good job abit for using the NF7 name which is notorius for overclocking then giving me this piece of crap. Just a little mad ;)

Power supply sizing bull

I plugged in some equipment in that and got 300 minimum (athlon 64, 2 sticks of ddr, 6800 gt, hard drive, dvd burner). Now that configuration is known to run VERY WELL on a shuttle with a 240-250 Watt power supply... seems a little strange.

LCD Vs. CRT

CRT monitors have better image quality in my opinion if you get a nice one :D I'm using a 17inch Sony Trinitron and it looks great, much better than your average crt. For gaming a CRT wins due to high refresh rates, I'll take 120Hz at 1024 over 75Hz anyday. Save some money if you don't need...

By the time HL2 comes out.. hah. Don't buy a new card untill it does FINALLY go gold at least, should be end of August if its on schedule (only god knows) Maybe by then some PCI express x800 series cards will be available.
