the 5 minutes from page to page pretty much gave most of us no chance... i wonder what "special tricks" some people had up their sleeves to access those pages quicker than the rest of us.

i got to the deal page in time (i loaded the page 5 minutes early only for it to load about a minute after 11), but it'd take about 5 minutes to go from page to page even with a low ping cable connect. you pretty much had to be lucky, and hope your request to access another page was dealt with...

Purevideo question (Crashing issue)

Hey guys... Basically my issue is that after I installed Purevideo (latest version) and tried to run the codec through nvdvd, wmp10, the purevideo nwhatever applet, etc; it would crash before loading the dvd. If i uninstall Purevideo from my PC, and try to watch DVD's everything is fine...

2005fpw has faint lines going down slowly on the left sixth of the screen

Hey, So I purchased a 2005fpw a couple weeks ago and on the first 1/6th of the screen or so on the left are these faint lines that can be seen in some backgrounds... Looks sort of like disturbance... and they go down the screen pretty fast (From top to bottom). I've tried moving the monitor...

Technically, it's 299 unless you were planning on an xfire card as well. Otherwise it's pure garbage that they can list it like they are.

Dell 2005FPW vs Samsung 193P+ vs ViewSonic 191b vs Viewsonic N2750w?

Yea that 2405FPW looks awesome, but it's expensive. It definately is a great deal bigger than the 2005FPW, but... just dont have that kind of cash unless i get some huge deal dropping it to like 700. I appreciate your post, and that's definately one monitor I'm thinking about a lot. Tides

Actually this question is not all that great. Money, fame, etc are all unimportant compared to being a good, honest, caring, helping person. You can let all these things change you, or hold true to yourself. Personally, I'd hope I wouldn't let the idea of money and fame stop me from doing...

Hey, thanks for the reply. One question I have for you on the 2005FPW is about DVD playback. Do widescreen DVD's take up the whole screen or do you still see black bands on the top and bottom of the picture and how much of the screen is unused if so? Tides

Message pretty much asks it all. I'm looking at some LCD panels at the moment; but keep going back and forth between a true PC monitor and a mixed TV/PC LCD panel. Basically I need a nice all around LCD. Done a lot of research, but was hoping to get more personal experiences/reviews of these...
