I have used raid 0 for years now and never had any problems with it, and its no problem to install a OS on it. If the 1 of the drives would be corrupted, the system wouldnt boot at all and besides that the Raid utility at bios gives u the possibility to repair a corrupted stripe...
I have also the Nvidia Raid error after booting in Windows XP. My sys :
MSI K8N Neo4 platinum
AMD64 3000+ winchester core
Nvidia 6800 GTO
Audigy2
Nvidia Raid 0 on 2 sata 80 Maxtor drives
It begun when the PC once didnt shut down correctly.
