What kind of scsi controler do i need for this hd?

I would just like to confirm that LSI makes superior quality products. I don't know why I left them out initially, but in fact LSI makes the chips that go on a lot of U160 cards. Adaptec doesn't use 'em, but Tekram does, for example.

Your voltages are very nice. Perfectly within reason. You should never expect them to be dead on. It's foolish and impossible. I say look elsewhere for your problem.

are floppy drives starting to be phased out?

I use a floppy for RAID as well. I also don't mind having it in my case. Sometimes you just need to put a few (or a few hundred) KB on a disk and take it with you. The lead in and lead out would take longer on a CD than using a floppy, and floppies are small and durable. Still useful, I think.

The words SCSI and cheap don't fit in the same sentence. If you want to check out the best controllers, check Adaptec. Tekram makes reasonable controllers that are usually cheaper than Adaptec. Don't know the website. That drive will need a either a U320 or U160 controller. Both types of HD...

GF4 Ti4200 Question

If nothing else, the MSI package should be reason enough to pick it over Chaintech. You get 3 full version games and a bunch of demos, you get DVD software (not too bad either), you get a nice assortment of cables and adapters and you get a great performing and good looking video card to top it...

Is this Enermax PSU good enough for AMD 2200+?

Enermax makes fine PSU's and 300W is enough. Very good current specs on that 300W unit. You'd be surprised at what I've seen labelled as a 300W unit, far worse than what you've got there!

What kind of tools can be use to cut waterblock?

I've made a few of my own waterblocks, two of which I'm using right now. I used a beaten up old benchtop mill. You can get them for around 1500 Canadian bucks, new. It's just a powerful drill press with a fancy table. It takes a little skill and a little patience, but you can do some fine work...
