http://www.theregister.co.uk/2003/02/06/msn_deliberately_breaks_operas_browser/ Check out this article. Microsoft made their website in a way that deliberately renders bad on Opera Quite possible other websites might be doing this too, just to get Opera off the market.

Good news everyone! Mozilla intends to copy Chrome some more

A question for the people here: Are Google Chrome and Chromium browser equal in terms of their speed, performance, and security features? I use Chromium because i have privacy concerns, am I missing out on anything but not using Chrome?

How has Chrome had such a meteoric rise?

Chrome comes bundled with a lot of software(avast for example) and it installs by default unless you uncheck the box. That can be a reason. That and the Google brand name.

1 out 54 different AV scanners detected a file as a threat, is it safe to use?
