Question about tires

Generally 5 years for motorcycle tires, 10 for auto, is usually said. Not that my tires usually last that long. You could check the manufacture dates. And look for surface cracking. I am in CT, my driving is New England, not Texas though.

Help! Doctor said I cannot smoke until my ankle healed.

Twenty years ago the doctor gave me a choice. Quit or quit breathing. Responsible pregnant women give up smoking and drinking through pregnancy. I suppose.. fwiw people smoke near and in the entranceway of my building. Smells bad and lingers to my nose.

My next vehicle purchase - fun vs responsibility vs stupid

BMWs get expensive for service and repairs. I think used Prius's are overpriced. Ford Focus got good reviews. A sporty $15,000 one should do well, do not know beyond impressions. My brother has owned and driven a Hyundai 2002 Tiburon, admittedly a 2 door marginal back seat model. Motorcycles...

Need advice on low power/single slot GPU

7750 seems best bet, Ti s without power plug do not perform much better, or so it appears. I think R7 250 cards are comparable? do not know which are without power plug. I think I would upgrade power supply and shop a good used card. 300-450 Watts...

how often do you have days where you don't spend any money?

I like fresh fruit and veggies, yogurt, bread and milk as needed. Travel is spending. Though I like to use a thermos for coffee. (addicted).

Cheap Kingston is a poor SSD choice (research unannounced NAND switch). At the moment amazon has 240-256 GB Crucial $100-110. MX100, M550, M500. For the prices, 120 vs 240 GB SSDs, $80 vs $110 or less, bigger is better, particularly because 240 is much more efficient than 120. Way they work...
