What are your thoughts? On one hand I see that towing with the air conditioning on causing more stress on the engine. Alternatively it would keep the fan blowing air on the engine.
This is a for a Taurus towing a small trailer about 1000Lbs.

What's wrong with a manufacturer taking a good product and distributing it throughout the product line? Plus if they have less individual components to produce they can reduce costs.
