You really are not looking between the lines here. 90C was his HIGHEST recorded temperature meaning he probably had everything at full load with poor cooling. My VRAM under the TwinTurbo sits at 55-60C idle depending on ambient temperature. I achieve these temperatures with no heat sink on...

I am waiting on those temperatures as well but these ram sinks have been well received over at overclocked.net Here is a review from the man who designed the heat sinks. http://www.xtremesystems.org/f...p=3251416&postcount=44 He said he has been running these on two different 4870 models...

Oh man those custom RAM/VRAM heat sinks are awesome. I think the price is a little hefty but overall the peace of mind is better than this lame thermal tape. I am really interested in seeing your temperatures in RivaTuner/GPU-Z.

4870 at 30% fan speed, what temp do you have?

I would hope not! I think it would be pretty lame for these fans to not be able to work at 75% their total capability. Anybody know for certain?

4870 at 30% fan speed, what temp do you have?

I have downloaded RBE v1.15 and created a copy of my HD4870 BIOS with GPU-Z v0.2.8. I am currently looking at the 'Fan Settings' tab and can not discern what exactly will set my GPU to spin up fans to 75% right off a cold boot. Any insight...

I have my Accelero TwinTurbo running at 75% immediately from start up. I idle at 47C with the side panel off. I thought perhaps this was a bit high but it is also 79F in my apartment. I do have one question about RivaTuner. When I start my PC it boots directly to the Windows Login screen...

This program seems a little complicated. I can't tell which fan is which! I also can't seem to figure out what variable represents fan RPM. This program says everything is at 100%

I downloaded this app called RivaTuner that has options to setup fan speed profiles for your GPU. I cranked the fans to 75% and my 4780 is at 49C playing BioShock. Any good motherboard/fan chasis controll apps so I can raise the speed on my case fans?

What do you mean? I'm getting the VisionTek HD4870 with the Accelero S1 Rev2 for passive cooling. I hear these cards run hot, hot, hot. Is there a better option for graphics at the moment? I do not want to spend $500 on a card if that is what you mean...
