Crysis Multiplayer Beta

Installed the new beta driver and Crysis last night. At 1900x1200, it is really choppy on high setting and 4x AA. Lower to 1680x1050 was still choppy on high and 4x AA. I finally got very smooth playing experience with 1680x1050 with everything on high, no AA, and 16x AF (in driver control...

Did I get a dud, or am I doing something wrong?

That had me wondering if the BIOS flash was done successfuly. I had to flashed mine a couple of times before it was stable. 1. set the BIOS back to default. 2. flash the P30 BIOS using the Alt-F2 (I think) and shutdown after flashing. 3. pull psu cable, remove battery and jump the clear...

There was a key waiting for me after I've login. 1. Login 2. go to My Account 3. Beta Keys Archive There's a list of all the keys for demo and betas and Crysis was one of them. Now I gotta download it.

350Mhz Max FSB for Q6600 on Asus P5N32-E SLI Plus?

I have the eVGA NF68-A1 and I hit the wall at (450fsb). It doesn't matter what multiplier I use, it just will post at all. The funny thing is, I've tried 487fsb and it boot, but two of the cores are disabled. Really weird. I was hoping I could run it at 450x8 for 3.6ghz so that my ram will...

I've noticed that you are using the eVGA 680i SLI. What version of the board do you have? The NF68-AR have issue with overclocking the Quads. You should RMA it for the A1 version.

Sounds like you are really enjoying it. I, otoh, find it difficult because I have no idea what the hell I am doing. I just run around looking for the guys with red triangle and start shooting. I am hosting a LAN party this weekend and wish we could play this locally.

e6600 @ 3.6 temps

Those are great temp...I am on water and I don't get that kind of temp at 3.6ghz with 1.56v! I just don't trust CoreTemp for some reason. I load up CoreTemp, SpeenFan, Intel TAT, and nvMonitor and they all show different temp. I just don't know what to trust. CoreTemp shows the lowest temp...

There's only one map? How do you get the game to show FPS? 1920x1200 with everything high except AA=8x and AF=16. Very playable, but want to see what FPS I am at.

VISTA SLI NVIDIA COMING SOON

Yes, I got the DX10 version to run just fine. The two playable levels looks great and pretty fun. Can't wait for the release. I do agree about benching..I don't have time for that crap. So there's another rendering mode? Ok, I didn't know. Thanks for the link...
