Anyone know of a good business-class laptop with DVI output on it? I was not able to find one from Dell. Second question: Some of the Dell laptops have the option to purchase a Belkin KVM switch which plugs into the laptop's PCCard slot and has DVI out. If the laptop does not have DVI out...

Hmm Aperions cheapest system is $799 for a 6.1 setup. I honestly don't think you will find a good system for $500 or less.

Aperion Audio is definately the way to go. Affordable and they sound great. Thei bookshelf speakers should be in your price range and will work well. For the price these guys can't be beat. They only sell direct too.

Need help with build

Nice system, I like the Silverstone case. Last I checked, the Nvidia drivers were not 100% compatible with Vista. It's been a week, has anything changed? Otherwise you might want to stick with an ATI vid card to make sure its compatible. Might want to bump the PSU power up to 550 or 600W...

Alternative to iTunes\iPod

What do you mean dock with an AM/FM unit? I am using a Creative Zen Vision and I love it. it plays videos and music and sounds pretty good. I would definately avoid the Zune at all costs though. It sounds bad and is pretty limited as to what it can play.

Help my pick some good 2.0 speakers for my friend.

I thought the Logitech Z-10 speakers were pretty cool: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/produ...etails/US/EN,CRID=2173,CONTENTID=12263 They do not include a subwoofer, but they sound great. I would also check out the Logitech Z-4's which are affordable and sound good, under $100 bucks too...

12 hours is more than enough to stress test it. Even running it for 6 hours should be good and is probably longer than any gaming session you have right!?

TV Tuner Cards

The new TV Wonder Elite is my personal favorite: http://reviews.designtechnica.com/review2351.html It has softer edges than I might prefer, but it eliminates most of the screen artifacts, and their 3D comb filter is top notch.

Just remove all of the CPU tests from the 3DMark tests and make sure its only running graphics benchmarks. If you have a newer video card, I would suggest using the latest 3DMark program to make sure it stress tests all of the features your graphics card is capable of. Just put it on loop...
