Get the 8200, most of the boards support 8 channel audio through the HDMI : a lot of 780G boards were too ahead of the curve.

Do all modern AMD chipsets support an Opteron Santa Ana 1212? I understand the connection is there, but do they carry the power requirements that chip needs? I need the multitasking power on a budget, and a 1212 2.0 GHz runs around 60 USD on newegg right now. Most board manufacturers...

I know for a fact Lavasoft's Adaware will kill it, and then you may have to run the uninstall on it afterwards. I have cleaned it on three different machines with adaware. You might be careful, if it is running on the screen, it may already be in. I have seen that once before also.

Core Temperatures on stock E8400 - seem normal? high?

I built a machine for a friend with a stock HSF and stock X3110 (which equals the 8400) and his stayed around the same. He was also running 2 8800 GT's in SLi, but had 7 fans running in the case.

Breaking 3 GHZ on a P965

I am looking at a DFI 965-S, some OCZ 2 GB DDr-2 800, an intel E2220, is there any crazy kind of setting to get the 400 MHz FSB? I haven't seen it yet, I just wanted to clarify before ordering this board. It is only 79.99 USD as of this posting, and seems to be a better deal than any P35...

i think the xeons referred to for servers are the socket 771 models, not the desktop 775 models. Just like the socket AM2 optys vs. the socket F optys.
