Fry's B&M: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ OEM w/ ECS GeForce6100SM-M MB for $99.99

i asked a fry's sales rep if i could substitute a retail cpu for an oem on a different deal and he told me i would have to buy the mobo and the chip separately- the total was almost a hundred dollars more so i ordered it from zzf instead. wtf???

hi- about to pull the trigger on a budget amd setup. at newegg i can get a 3600 brisbane oem for $59 or a 3800 windsor retail w/heatsink & fan for $67. any difference between the 2 that would matter? thanks! iq

computer slows to a crawl when i update nvidea drivers

i have this case and i really like it except for one thing- the right side panel does not come off. normally this wouldn't bother me except i just bought a new zalman cnps7000 cooler and it bolts through the mobo. so... i had to remove my mobo to install it. what a pain in the ***

well...i didn't want to say anything, but... i ordered one of the new zalman heatsinks that bolts onto the mobo hoping to put my new rig together over the weekend. i ordered it on a tuesday-before noon- and i paid the extra 2 or 3 bucks for same day shipping. i got an email comfirming my order...
