Stores asking for additional ID when using CC... I thought it wasn't allowed.

I work in retail, and am one of those people who asks to see an ID when handed any debit or credit card. If someone runs their card as debit and enters their pin, we don't need to see ID.. And technically, if a credit or debit card is signed on the back, we are not required to check ID, though...

So, what IS Victoria's Secret?

Well, when I first started working there they showed me a bunch of videos and such.. on one of them they said that she invented the push-up bra. I don't really buy it, though.. I've heard quite a few times that a guy named Victor started a lingerie shop and thought the name "Victor's Secret"...

Cavity questions!!!

Second opinion, <b>always</b>. One dentist told me my first visit there that I had four.. several reasons to leave and a new dentist later, he took new x-rays and saw only one... so a second opinion is wise. Good luck :)

Sisq0kidd: Thanks so much, that makes a lot of sense now. :) Scott: Thank you! It's really just as sisq0kidd said, based on financial need and GPA, and didn't require "a big application effort"... the FAFSA really helped. I'm enrolled in UCSC and will be studying music and art (photography)...

Cal Grant A..?

Alright.. I'm completely confused. In April I found out that I got enough in grants to cover tuition at my local UC (sweet!). About a month later I get the Cal Grant A and B application in the mail and sent it in. The other day I checked online and found out that I got the max amount ($6636)...
