We are getting some scattered thunderstorms rolling through.
EDIT: A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect. Heavy storms are roaring through now. It's just pouring with high winds.
update for today:
on a lighter note:
I went to the grocery store this afternoon and what was playing on the store's sound system?
Buster Poindexter - Hot! Hot! Hot!

We were under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning earlier and now we are under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch.
Thunderstorms have been rolling through here for the last 2 hours. Apparently some more are on the way.
I don't eat much beef anymore due to the expense. There are alternative meats that are just as good. I use ground turkey instead of beef for most things. It's way cheaper and just as tasty.
I also eat fish which is very good for you. For burgers, I use lean ground pork. I don't miss beef...
I have some updates:
he has been discharged from hospital
he must go back in 1 month for a second stent and check up
he has a cardiologist now and will be getting regular tests
he is still rather weak
he is at greater risk of another heart attack
I am worried but hopeful

I was shocked but not surprised to hear this. He has several health issues like diabetes and morbid obesity. He really needs to loose about 80 lbs. He is also on a semi-Aktins diet, which I have complained about...
No, because it is way more complicated than it has to be.
It would be easier to just get a board + cpu from Marketplace or Ebay. Lots of people are upgrading now so it should be fairly easy to get something cheap.
