AV7133 Owners, what memory ya runnin and how high?

I'm running some transcend pc133 cas3 ram (winbond 7.5ns chips) at 133, with 133mhz fsb. i haven't tried upping it a lot, but it's absolutely stable.. no mem probs. i'll try cas2 at 133 someday.

A7V133 and GeForce2MX... need help!

thanx for the feedback ppl! i just flashed the 1002A (i think) bios, that has a 1x/2x/4x agp setting and i think i'll give it a try at 2x with fast writes. i'll also try the EF driving force and tell you the results, but i think i tried it yesterday and it doesn't work. i'm away from this pc...

My problem is I can only run 1x or 4x. 4x is unstable (can't start 3D mode, and on 2D it's unstable if the driving force is not DA, EA, FA or FB) 1x is slow If you know how I can set AGP speed to 2x, or have a trick so that it's stable at 4x, tell me. My config is: Tbird 900 at 900 (9x100) or...

Yesterday I installed Sandra, and the CPU temp readings from sandra were 39C (open case) while the reading from ASUS probe was 53-54C. So, it is the program that compensates the readings of the probe. That's all..

A7V133 Temperatures too high!

I know. I wanted to remove it from the beginning, but I'll remove it now, when I do the pencil trick.. Anyway, I thought it wouldn't make such a difference. I just wanted feedback on the difference between the ASUS and VIA temperature measurements.

A7V133 Temperatures too high!

I just got myself an A7V133. It's got the 1001C bios and i've also got a tbird 900 with an FOP 32. So, my problem is: My temperatures are between 55-60C (idle, depending on if my case is open or not). The system temperatures are around 30-40C (again depending on if the case is open or not) Btw...

It's the 1001C bios (it came with the board) It's absolutely stable except with AGP 4x (turbo mode on via 4-in-1) and system temp is 30-40C (depends if case is open or not)

I have an A7V133, and I also have a problem with my temps. It's about 58C (idle) with the case closed... I'm using a Tbird 900 (not overclocked yet) and an FOP32. I haven't removed the thermal pad from the bottom of the heatsink. Do you think this could be a problem? Should I replace it with...

A new BIOS revision would surely fix the problem. As the multiplier depends on the CPU and not on the mobo, I think that a 1000/100 would force 10x multiplier to a board that doesn't know 8.5x or above, but that could have peculiar results... Anyway what I wanted to add is that all mobos that...

I *THINK* that all Coppermines above 850 are 133FSB.. I've never heard of 900 or 950.. The gig should be 7.5x133, and that's why Intel's BX board doesn't support it.. It supports 66/100 FSB, no o/c whatsoever.. Anyway, i said I *THINK* it's the way i described..

A7V133 issues (help please)...

yes, there is an A7V133 without the promise controller (2 channels, 4 devices max) and there is an option of setting the promise controller to non-RAID mode (4 channels, 8 devices max)

When will the MSI K7T Turbo hit the market?

I hope it comes out soon and I also hope it is as good as the Master series and not as the Pro2A (which proved not to be the best board ever made... --> multiplier and instability issues) I'm waiting...

MSI K7T Turbo vs Abit KT7A

As I posted in some threads before, I'm waiting for the Turbo. I want to see some reliable reviews and hear some first overclocking results. I suppose it will be stable, as MSI boards generally are. As for the missing NorthBridge fan, it mat be a problem at FSB >140, where I'd stick my own fan...
