Problems with x1650xt and cat drivers

Yep, that's the error message I get with a fresh xp pro sp2 install and my new HIS x1650xt. I tried the driver disc, the catalyst package download 3 times, the standalone ati drivers 3 times & omega once. None of them would properly recognize my card and the ati ones all gave this error...

Preseason college football rankings are out!

nope, I def saw that game (UM v Texas). young tore them an even bigger hole than ginn did. score was way closer than the game was - he tore them up. hopefully he won't put on that kind of show 9.10 in the shoe <fingers crossed> edit:

yeah but those launch prices usually hold for quite some time, so unless you are going to wait for 2 years-ish, there really isn't any economic advantage - unless you mean just to wait and see IF a console gets anything worth playing? the thing about waiting to see if there are hardware...

XP won't boot from scsi w/out cd in drive?

...but the PC will post, then immediately restart unless I have my xp disk in the cd drive. with the cd in, everything is fine - but obviously this situation of needing my xp disk in everyime I have to restart is only slightly less irritating than the fact that I haven't been able to fix it...
