Ethernet data logger

I need to find some kind of logger that can act as a middleman on an ethernet line. It just has to store the data that goes through this line onto like, an SD card or something. I'm doing this for a project, but the only ones I've found run $1500 + and have 1000's of options I don't need...

USB 2.0 Support won't work!!

Nothing. It reinstalled all the same stuff as before and now it won't pick up my USB drive. Is it alright to have 3 USB Host controllers? I have two OpenHCD controllers and one NVIDIA USB 2.0 Host Controller.

USB 2.0 Support won't work!!

Only thing in the BIOS is USB legacy support, which I turned off. Nothing in there about hi-speed or full speed.

5.1 Card not playing all channels

1. I'm using regular music to test. 2. Yes, I have the latest drivers. 3. How do I change the speaker settings? And to Astralite... how would I know if it's only 2 channel material? Do I have to download special 5.1 surround to have it all play?
