It is a Toshiba L505d-S5983 and had Windows 7 Home Premium (32-bit) installed.

Laptop missing OS

My brother wiped my laptop HDD as a prank. It won't boot, and is asking for a bootable disk. As with most computers, it did not come with disks. The sticker on the bottom is not fully readable, so I will not be able to get the COA. How bad am I screwed, and what can I do to fix it?

I'm playing AC Rogue on PS3 and I've noticed that sometimes hideouts are different colors on the map. I understand hostile hideouts are red, while friendly ones are green. What does it mean when they are shown as a bluish-green color? Also, does purchasing the different sails for your ship do...

Maximum games on Xbox 360

Is there a maximum number of games that can be installed on an Xbox 360? Mine has a 320mb HDD and 80 games/demos installed. Last night I installed a new game and you would think that I now have 81, but you would be incorrect. I have 80 still. It appears that Peggle disappeared. your thoughts...

got a laptop from a friend, all the ribbon cables are yanked out

It seems to me that you did not get a laptop from a friend. In fact, what you got, is a boat anchor. It will most likely cost close to or even more that a new one. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
