SurroundView with 5770 and x1200

I just bought a 5770 and have an asus m2a-vm motherboard with the 690g chipset and ati x1200 video. I have 3 samsung 2343 monitors that I am trying to connect all via DVI. I have the surroundview option turned on in the bios, but in device manager, I am getting an error for the ATI Radeon X1200...

After running memtest separately on the two sticks in the same slot on my board, one of the sticks was completely error free, while the other stick gave me the exact same errors as I received when I was running memtest with both of the sticks in. So apparently, one of the sticks is defective, right?
