Newegg selling Throughbred B's 1/10/03

yep, it's unlocked, 178x12=2135mhz @ 1.6v, 38c idle, 45c loaded, I have to open the case to get that temp. awesome chip for $50!

2100+'s ordered from Newegg, what week/stepping have you recieved? **Information Gathered Inside!**

save $50 and buy the 1700+ instead, my 1700+ from newegg is a JUIHB 0245, 2135mhz (178*12) default 1.6v stable.

2100+ Tbred B (? -> yes!) at newegg for 92->101 dollars (1/14/03)

my 1700+ can do 2088mhz (12.5x166, 1.6v) @ 50c idle, it's a JIUHB 0245 tbred-B from newegg. bump up the vcore to 1.65v, it can do 2240 (12.5x177), no error in memtest. prime95 & 3dbench. I'm concerned about the high temp, 35c case, 55c idle, 60c loaded, is this normal for a tbred-B? i suspect...

TBred unlocking: What to get & from where???

I have a tbred-B 1700+ and epox 8RDA+ nforce2 mobo, I can change the multiplier up to 12.5x. if I set the multiplier to 13x. it boot up as 5x, 14x = 6x and so on. what's going on?

133 or 166?

I got a tbred 1700+ rev B, epox 8RDA+ nforce2 mobo and 3 crucial PC2100 DDR. is it better to run the FSB @ 166mhz or just leave it @ 133mhz? i don't want to OC the memory.

NZ90 will be out soon, possible a price drop on nx60/nx70? beware nx60 has palm os 5, old programs use sony's proprietary high res api which won't work under os5. wifi card is not included, CF slot only works with sony's $150 wifi card. no CF memory card driver, only 11 mb useable RAM, 200mhz...
