oh ok awesome. I've been out of the loop for a while... all this stuff is confusing! Which version of the 9600 do u have? The last two cards I was looking at were the 9600PRO and the 9800SE.
Also in my previous post, I meant to say that I'm using analog cuz that's all my current card has...
The card I have only has analog, so that's what I'd be using.
If I end up getting another card, are there any recommendations for something relatively inexpensive (less than around $80)? I'm also debating if I should even invest in a video card since I *might* upgrade my PC next year, and...
Cool thanks! Does non-gaming performance decrease substantially when you start to run at higher resolutions?
Maybe I should get a new video card anyway so I can have the cool Vista effects (of course this is secondary).
Is there any chance that my old GeForce Ti4200 will support the 1680x1050 resolution? I'm considering getting one of those 20" widescreen monitors as well, and it'd be nice to not have to buy a new video card. If I do buy a new video card it'll be a sub-$80 one.
What did you end up doing? I'm in the EXACT same predicament as you; I have the Cordless Duo Elite and it's startin to act up. My mouse died a few months ago. I've been going back and forth between the MX Duo and the LX700 since they appear to be the same price, with the only downfall being...
When I 1st got this burner it gave the option to burn at 16x but EZ CD 6 would eventually slow it down to 2x while it was burning. After alot of experimenting I figured out it would burn at 8x all the way thru if selected.
Fine.
One day I started EZ CD 6 and it wouldn't start... instead...
I have a few Divx clips that play fine on my computer but not so fine on my girl's laptop. She has a Dell Latitude C600.... P3 850, 512MB RAM. I tried updating the drivers for the ATI Mobility M3 chip it has, the sound drivers, and it still doesn't work.
When the hardware acceleration is up...
The max it can support is the Athlon XP 2400+. I have one that runs good for the most part, but sometimes you have to power cycle it a couple of times to get it to start. This is because the only BIOS that officially supports the 2400+ is a beta BIOS.
However, I just purchaed a new...
Most of the time it's "while supplies last" but the past 2 times I was there they gave subs out for what they ran out of, and instead of the mail-in rebate they made it instant.
