Half-Life 3 after 2013, to be open world?

There was a really really cool user created level for HL2 in which the user just had a single zone with quests that went back and forth, giving the game an open world with linear quests feel. I can't search for the mod right as I am at work, I'll edit my post when I get home.

Dark Souls - the laziest console-to-PC port? (Update: Resolution Rendering Update)

How do you exit the game, other than pressing alt+f4? Also has anyone gotten a PS3 controller to work using x360ce? The controller I have wont work with motionjoy.

Why did this gen of console go on for so long?

I would say that the current gen of consoles has lasted so long because of the television market holding steady with a 1080p resolution.

People don't remember all the hate D2 had at release. When D2 was 1st released every said it was horrible and didn't live up to the greatness that was D1. People have a strong tendency to only remember the best of things they liked.

It was also the only one in the store. Any way I will just try running it hard through some benches and see if anything odd pops up. Like I said the tape on the electrostatic bag had not been broken so it may never haven been opened.
