P4B266/ 1.6a boot much slower after nic installed

This page shows how you can assign a static IP address on your system. I had the same prob of long boot time after installing nic, and the following the instructions on this page fixed the problem. Good luck

Simple questions about a Athlon Slot A 750

Hi Mitzi, This is the Via site that tells you a bit about the kx133. Looks like it takes PC133 ram. I'm not sure about the ps sorry, I suspect 230 would be boarderline though.

Is CIV3 hard to learn?

I haven't played that type of game before (I've played a couple of RTS's but civ is different right?). Do you have to read a phonebook sized manual to get into it? Also I only have 256MB ram, is this enough? Thanks for any help.

3dfx Glide Question

Maybe he wants to play Grand Prix Legends, in which case he already appears to be a very wise young man. GPL was written with only Glide support (and Rendition) but since then a Direct3D patch has been written to allow non-3DFX users to enjoy this fine historical motor racing simulation. Perhaps...

Simple adsl setup question

I recently did a Norton Ghost restore of my system and now my adsl connection is really sticky ie anything I click on over the net pauses for a few seconds before opening. I remember that after I did my Norton backup a few months ago, I found a tip that showed me something about adjusting packet...

ie E=MC squared In Word, you go...Format->Font->Superscript, but I'll be buggered if I can find it in Excel. Thanks :)
