Price drop for Basic PC133 at Mushkin. 128 meg for $39 shipped.

Perhaps it will increase performance but so little you may never notice. In some situations more memory can decease performance.

256 --> 384MB RAM overkill?!

Ram's VERY cheap right now, so to many with the extra ~$60 to spend, it's worth it. If money's tight however, the performance increases won't be justified. If you have a slower processor, you would do better spending money upgrading that instead of more memory. You're instincts of this not...

HOT: Crucial PC133 256MB CL3 @ Staples PM, $74 + Tax

All the price-matching has finally caught up with Staples.

That's a real downer for a Sunday morning, but it is inevitable with these full retail stores. If you want to do business in todays market, you're gonna have to be special or cheap. Staples isn't either until they price match and coupon. That makes them both. I wonder how long the ride is...

Crimping tool necessary for terminating RJ45 cables?

I love my ideal crimper and ideal solid connector ends I purchase at home depot. Can't beat making your own cables for about a buck to the exact length you need.
