Did you apply thermal compound (such as AS5) or did you just use the stuff that came pre-applied to the stock HSF? Also make sure your BIOS is allowing the fan to run at full speed, it may have a quiet operation mode that turns the fan down to reduce noise.
The P5W DH has an issue with using manual memory timings with some types of RAM above 365-370 FSB. I have the same board and RAM, but I'm using an E6400. I can't post above 368MHz with manual timings. Set your timings to Auto and you'll likely be able to boot at 400MHz+. I've been running...
I'd also recommend reading the motherboard manual thoroughly, particularly the section that describes the various parts of the Advanced section in the BIOS. Starts on page 4-18 in my P5W DH manual.

You have to turn off a lot of the automatic config stuff to see most of the OC options. In Advanced -> JumperFree, change "AI Overclocking" to manual. That'll give you the FSB option you're looking for. There's quite a few other things as well, dig through the forums here and elsewhere...
Yep, running Vista 64bit. Still have XP 32bit on another drive in case it goes south on me/becomes too much trouble. Some things work great, some things not so much. My biggest activities lately have been web browsing and FEAR, and both of those work fine.
Yeah, I just got SpeedFan 4.31 to work by booting with the driver signature stuff disabled. Happen to know if there's a way to permanently disable that rather than having to hit F8 every time I restart?
