If an incompatible NVME SSD enclosure chipset is used as extended storage for PS5 or PS4 Pro and you put it on Rest Mode/Hibernate Mode, drive will crash, will close the game running and ask for repairs on next boot.

To those Crucial X8 users, here's how I resolved the issue with Rest Mode of PS5:
