Intel SSD disappearing from boot up

I've changed the SATA cable on the Intel not too long ago (confirmed it the other night). No kinks or right angles seen last night that I could see. I can try rerouting the cables tonight and/or replacing them.

@inachu - I have the latest BIOS for this motherboard. UPDATE - On turning on my system tonight, had to disconnect the DVD drive to be able to use a port that would allow the system to see the Intel SSD. Convinced it's the ports. Looking at getting a replacement Z77 motherboard at this time...

@inachu - If I remember correctly, I may be off by 1 revision. I seem to recall seeing an update but not seeing anything in the notes that seemed that important for me to update to it. I will check when I get home.

PC not booting up, help please

Here's the situation. Was on the computer just surfing the web, when the computer froze. No BSOD or anything, just a frozen cursor and unresponsive. Held down the power switch to shut it down, counted to 15 and then powered it up again. Machine turns on, but nothing on the screen and the HDD...

Length of GTX 260 & HD 4870 vs 8800 GT

Hmm...I'll have to take this into consideration. Really wish online retailers would put down the length of the card with the rest of the "features" when showcasing it. Meh.

I was talking about the extra 4 pin needed to power today's newer mobos. Since it works on the Gigabyte GA-K8U, I'm making the assumption that the extra power to the board is what's making the 9600 Pro work on it. I was under the assumption that AGP cards are all backwards compatible. I mean...
