erf, nm about the comments! i've been known to invent my own words after 12am
i need a manufacturer for one of those doodlepads. do you know what i mean?
Hi,
I'm looking for the best writing pad (for note taking) , well rather companies that manufactur those tablets and pens you can write things on.
Can someone help me out by giving me some good manufacturers?
Thanks
Hey
I was wondering if anyone knew of some non proprietary SBC manufacturers. By non proprietary I mean something that would fit in a standard PCI slot without the use of a backplane.
Thanks,
I really don't agree with you guys on "hotswapping" parts that don't specifically say their hot swappable. Just because they're small (like fans) or seem idiot proof (like molex connectors) doesn't mean its OK.
I mean generally you won't have a problem (BTW P/S2 is not hot swappable though I...
Lol, hes just jealous because he didn't get to test a sample like most other hardware sites.
No wonder hes spewing such crap instead of reviewing given that attitude.
I recall seeing VIA had a press release about their new 64bit PCI controller and I think that was a year ago but my mind is a big cloggy right now.
About the harddrives eating up PCI bandwidth, thats only if you RAID them. Most controllers have the PCI (I know Intels does for sure) as a subset...
Hello,
I can't seem to find much/any significant documentation about a DPT-UR-3334UW on the adaptec website.
Does anyone have the manual or any experience with one of these SCSI raid controllers?
COuld they please tell me the specs? Thanks, Jay.
Does anyone have any rackmount recommendations?
I'm looking particulary for the smallest in terms of Depth and Width.
Light in weight would be nice, but it just needs to fit 1 pci card (riser of course) and one of those dual p3 serverworks board implementations?
THanks for the suggestions.
Most people i know have don't have decent speakers anyway.
AC97 really varies, my VIA KT133A is really terrible, a lot of crackles.
But the Supermicro P3DRE I use is perfectly fine.
I think generally the speakers matter more when the sound card is fairly decent.
this is kinda of unrelated, but are there any analog to digital video converters?
i was considering switching to a rackmount for college to save space and lcd as well but most 1u rackmounts come with that ATI rage crap and analog. anyone?
UHHH thats a sawwed off SECC 2 catridge. Just use a Slot 1 Celeron Cooler. P2 PCBs have the same holes as the Celeron. Get one off ebay for like 2 bucks. I used it on a naked p2 300 and i had no problems with it.
