Win2k/98 duel boot

hello im going to try and duel boot windows98se with win200pro, but the thing is that i have win2k already installed and i dont have win98 installed. now i have heard that there are probs with making a duel boot with win98 after you installed win2k but i have this probram call partition magic...

Old Comp parts...

What do you guys do with your old computer parts after you've upgraded with new parts?? Do you store them away, or throw them out, or try to sell them??? im curios cause i just upgraded and just want to see what to do with my old parts... which was p3 450, tnt2, 128 megs ram.

Switching Hard Drives's

I replaced my D hard drive with another HD, but now when i try to load my system up with it says boot system failure and insert a disk, or something like that... the HD that im putting in replace of my D used to be the master (C) but now i need help on trying to set it to slave, can anyone help...

3dmark2001 sux so lets use quake 3. they got the new patch out 1.29f which supports the demo this time. just drop down console and type /timedemo 1 and goto demos and play the demo thats there...plz post your rig and the fps you get, i get around 140-144 fps on my system which seems about...

well, i havent gotten another message because i havent been running any applications or games yet, but when i mess around with my quake resolution and try to enable the overclocking feature with NVmax, or load up quake and run the demo a couple times, it will auto restart, but i thats prob...

yes 4.32, but i dont think the power supply is the prob cause im not really running that much on my mobo (no extra fans or anything like that)

thankyou, that helped but under sytem failure what should i have checked... should i have write an event to the system log and send an administrative alert checked and only automatically reboot unckecked?? and what should i have under write debugging infomation??? thanks!

Win2k, whats going on??

Okay i got win2k pro with my new system. i heard it was know for its stability and known for not crashing but i have had more crashes with win2k this week then i have had with win98 within the past couple years. first i got this "dumping of physical memory" message which i believe...

FAT 32 or NTFS??

actually as i read here, http://www.tech-report.com/reviews/2001q2/realraid/index.x?pg=5 it seems FAT32 is much faster than NTFS....

Win2k problem, Dumping of physical memory???

wow, i just had this same problem happen to me a couple hours ago and then a couple times before that. i think the problem was overclocking with me, once i set my bios setting back to normal everything seems to be fine for now... but its only been a couple hours since i changed the settings so...
