Testing a low end card is it working properly

I have an older intel quad xeon 775 2.5g system with an nvidia gts 250. I am looking for tests that confirm the graphics card is working properly. I was able to run the latest version of furmark without problem but would like a few others (free) tests or demos that this card should be able to...

Dreamweaver upgrade

Looking for the most cost effective upgrade. Coming up from Macromedia Dreamweaver MX v6.0. The current pricing on Ebay for Dreamweaver CS3 v9 seems to range on the low end between 60-85 for a used retail copy. Thats my budget range. Does that pricing seem okay or should I be looking...

xp install on ssd - need post failure instruction

secure erased w/ parted magic set up w/ Win 8 in usb attached enclosure installed in desktop started xp sp1 install with driver from MSI website , measured then upgraded to latest driver from AMD website from "2013", measured then upgraded to driver that was custom modified dated 2011...

okay this is where it stands now I found a driver to install with F6 at the start of XP installation someone custom modified it -dated DEC 2011 Drive is aligned but I will re-check it. Also given proper offset. Was zero written (secure erased) after a failed cloning attempt from a hard drive...

Using 64gb ssd as boot for refurb of desktop want to make sure it is set up properly. tried cloning with included acronis software in kingston ssdnowv200 kit. Checked and saw that ssd was still using ide mode on motherboard - msi 785gt-e63. Found AHCI in Raid settings(...

cbl modem->cable router to get wireless and add ports - Help with settings

was reading here http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/41083-42-using-cable-modem-cable-wireless-modem-router and it seemed like it might work The modem belongs to someone else didn't wan't to remove it just add what I needed from a part I already had cg3000d
