That Backblaze data is great on specific models, but you definitely can't extrapolate it to generalizations about brands.
One might assume WD is way more reliable than SG based on the 36 month chart, but they elsewhere state that:
1) The 3TB WD Green drives failed so badly and quickly for them...

I was all ready to click "buy now" on the crucial m4 when I stumbled across the Agility 4 at the same price point and just wanted to see what was up with it.
I'd prefer the Samsung 830, but can't justify the cost. $400 is my personal...
Noticed these are both ~$400 at the moment and that's entering the window I'm happy to pay for an SSD for my 2011 MBP.
Does anyone have a recommendation of one over the other? I've seen lots of fans of the M4 but it's getting older and I'm assuming the A4 might be better, hard to know...
Is there any word as to when these will actually be available at retail? They Said Nov 1st... but I don't even see pre-order ability yet on Amazon. Is this normal?
What's not true? That NAND prices didn't actually fall 20% or that it won't trickle into SSD prices? (the later was a question on my part not a statement)

Apple Insider reported today on a digitimes article claiming that NAND prices were dropping substantially... Any idea if and when this might trickle into retail SSD pricing?
