Running LCD's outside of native resolution and aspect ratio

Cooling question about the Sunbeam TRIO

NTFS vs Fat32

Yeah NTFS has much better security features than FAT32, but for the average home user that doesn't exactly matter. It is supposed to be slightly more reliable, and it is nice enough to store an extra copy of your MBR (NTFS version of a FAT table) in the center of the drive in case the first one...

What SHOULD a 6800 GT get in 3DMark05

I get about 5200 with my system and card overclocked. Specs are in my signature. That's with the 66.81 drivers.

It doesn't really sound like a virus to me if your not getting a video signal, unless it has infected your bios, which isn't too likely. You might try unpluging all of the drive cords from the motherboard and try to start the system to see if it is drive related. It sounds like a hardware...

Disabling sound?

I think you can just go in the case and unplug the speaker from the motherboard. That should theoretically keep it from working.

xbox vs PC

Lol depends on how you look at it. My graphics card alone is more powerful than an entire x-box (costs about twice as much too), but an x-box doesn't have the stability/compatibility issues that something as complex as a PC does.

Whats this - Bus master PCI IDE Driver

If all your drives are being recognized, I don't really see why you would need to install an IDE driver. IDE drivers would handle the interface for hard drives and cd/dvd drives in case you don't know. And I would only install the USB drivers if windows doesn't recognize the USB ports...

Problems Installing new video card..help!

Good luck with the bios flash. It fixed several problems I had with my 6800gt. I don't think it's your psu wattage, as the system wouldn't likely beep like that if that's what it was - that sounds more like a bad post. And pretty much any beep you get is going to come from the PC speaker I...

Problem getting p4p800 to recognize the primary IDE channel
