I checked mine after seeing this post.. i dont think mine has worked properly from day one.. i also noticed the molex connector is a little flakey when touched the light on the pump goes out and fan speed goes up.. very odd.

I've had great success with (repairing) reflowing PS3's with a hot air rework setup and preheater.. i have one up for 6 weeks now 60gb 2006 model and its used daily for streaming to it and light gaming. No i dont use a heatgun:)
Well it shouldnt cost more.. less PCB should mean less cost.. Im getting one these guys for sure.
Im wondering if the casing is aluminum or plastic like the current cards have.
