ASUS W3V Video?

I am looking into buying the ASUS W3V laptop but have a question first. I've noticed some places listing it as having 64 MB of Video Ram and using ATI's shared memory technology to use 64 MB of your regular RAM. I've also read on newegg and other sites that is has 128 MB built into the video...

Issues with Apple Studio Display on XP box

Apple's monitors are pretty much the same price as any other compareable wide-screen flat panel.

IE 6 problem

It is definitely not required to keep the internet connection going. You might have to go to cox.net and change your e-mail address if you had an @home address before. We're talking about how we had to convert from cox@home to the new Cox Network...Whatever you do don't install the software.

IE 6 problem

Crazy... Umm, here's a question for you. Does Cox Internet seem really slow now? I want to call and complain. I mean, they make you think you need to install this software...It totally messes up your system, and then when it's all said and done, the network is slower than it was when we used @home.

IE 6 problem

Re-installing IE will do nothing for your problem. I'm sure there's another way to fix this but I just felt like doing a clean installation anyway...

IE 6 problem

I got this same problem and I noticed after I did the "Cox Cable Modem" upgrade that they sent me in Arizona. It updates IE and it broke it. Do you have Cox Internet? I tried re-installing IE 6 with no luck. I just ended up formatting and re-installing XP. I'm glad I did it anyway cause for some...

Quiet Power Supply?

Now here's a little question off the subject. Will going up 50W be any more money on the electric bill? My sister is insisiting that leaving the computer on all day with the monitor off is killing our electric bill...but I didn't think the computer was that bad.

Quiet Power Supply?

I've been reading on here about the BEST power supplies but I can't find anywhere that says what is a really reliable nice 300+W power supply that is very quiet. My machine is driving me crazy as well as the two at work next to my desk. My boss said he'd like to get three of them.

XP Internet Sharing...

Mitsumi CDRW

Ok, still no luck. I put my hard drive as master and the CDRW as slave on the normal chain...not on ATA100 or anything. It's still saying it's a SCSI CD-Rom...I'm starting to think Win XP doesn't support this drive or something. No one else has a Mitsumi 4804 TE?

So it could be the way I have it setup inside? I have an ASUS A7V133...maybe I'll switch my CD-Rom and my CD-RW and see if that works....

Mitsumi CDRW

Ok. I have a Mitsumi CD-RW and Windows XP is saying it's a Mitsumi SCSI CDRom so I can't write to discs with it. I don't even have SCSI. I am trying to get a driver from Mitsumi but none of them seem to be working with Windows XP...is there anything I can do?
