Iwill KD266-BIOS will not fully load...

Yep, tried that... also took all the memory out and switched it around, got no change no matter which stick was in which slot (Crucial PC100 SDRAM). It's been suggested to me that my CMOS battery might be dead. Would that cause a boot failure? I would have thought I would get a "Battery Dead"...

Iwill KD266-BIOS will not fully load...

I get stuck at the CPU ID in the BIOS initialization... Award 6.00PG, Duron 1300. I did not change anything... just powered it down, and tried to start up the next day and got this. Any ideas?

Not enough voltage to turn fans?

I noticed over the weekend that the fans on my cooler were not spinning. After messing around with it, I noticed that if I disconnect one fan so only 1 is connected, it will spin if I give it a push with my finger. This also happened with a different cooler, so it seems to not be my cooler. The...

GlobalWin VGS08H vs CPU-Cool M1

Just wondering if anyone has any direct experience with either of these coolers... trying to decide which to use. I'm guessing the M1 will be quieter at least (1 fan vs. 2), but is it effective? TIA!

Rendition 1000VE drivers?

Hello, I'm rebuilding a system for a friend, and he's too cheap to buy a new video card, so I need to find some Win98 drivers for a Creative Rendition-based video card. They have them at creative.com, but I'm unsure what it was marketed as (ie, the name). Any help is greatly appreciated!
