Haven't finished half my stuff, am supposedly cutting back, and now have a wild hair about mini-ITX.........
Anyway a big small case nut and started really liking the SG05 & SG06 cases and wondered about mini-ITX motherboards. So what I would like to find......
1. Takes AMD AM2+/AM3

Loved my two 720BEs even though I never got the 4th core!!! They're a blast to "practice" overclocking with. So guskline go have some more fun!!
Had one in a Biostar 790GX XE that was 3.6~GHz stable and another in a Biostar TA760G AM2+ that was 3.5~GHz stable. Sadly didn't keep any notes...
Have started trying my hand at oc'ing this mobo with a PII X4 955 and right off the bat I hit a wall in the bios.........I CAN"T ACCESS THE VOTAGES!!!!
What am I missing?
In bios >
T-Series Settings > CPU FID/VID Control > Custom P-States > Enable
That is where you find the Core FID (multiplier), Core DID (ratio), Core VID (voltages), and NB FID (freq)
You can find some nice pics of the bios screens here...
It appears I may have fried the TA780G AM2+ mobo that is/was part of this build

Desided to play with it one more time before ordering the replacement PSU....... so using the mobo jumper block I
1. hook 120mm fan > it runs
2. hook up a the fans in the case > they run
3. hook up the pump & fans in water cooling system > they run
4. hook up HDD & optical drive > they...
I had unplugged it several times and had down time in case there was some thermal overload circuit.
However you suggestion to just try and power a HDD intreged me, so............
1. Didn't have a spare HDD so said what the heck, plugged in a 120mm fan and up she spun!
2. Okay lets try the...
Okay think I've done a real NOOB here and killed my psu. On my water cooled mATX build had everything hooked up to do the leak test and used the "jumper" provided to bypass the mobo. Had an initial major leak (didn't seat on of the tubes all the way) which side tracked me for a bit. After...
As it seems the manufacturers like to call the same thing different names I'm having an issue with hooking up my Silverstone SG01's front audio cable to my Biostar TA780G M2+ mobo. Below is what I have and some of my guesses.
SG01:

L-OUT
R-RET in series with

rebels haven will be one of you best sources for "custom" and factory Biostar bioses. Been using their stuff since my first 6100-939 build. Polygon's web site would be a nice companion to this one for Biostar fans.
So far it appears (from what I've read and friends that are running them)...
