Digging through my junk box and wow

Don't think I would want to sell it, just wondering if it is still good enough for today's selection of processors. I don't believe it would fit modern motherboards but they do have a newer model. Just a shame that Alpha isn't the big player it once was.

Cooling for AMD Fusion

Thanks everyone! I wish Newegg would include FM1 on the list of compatible sockets, even though AMD does have this right in keeping the same HS connector setup for all of it's sockets.

Removal of the dreaded yyy popup

Adaware, Spybot and MS Antispyware, all three wont touch it. I remember it took booting into recovery mode with the windows disk and removal of some files that are locked so that even Admin in safe mode cant delete them :( . I just cant remember which files and registry entries need to be removed.

For a while the Foxconn WinFast 755FXK8AA-8EKRS was listed at New Egg but it isn't there anymore. I searched pricewatch and can't find it listed anywhere. It is still listed on the Foxxconn website, but is anyone carrying it, or is any other manufacturer using the 755fx? Just wondering...

Wondering about cell phones

I have seen a mix uf reviews on those two phones also, I am really considering the V551 , but many people seem to have problems with battery life on it and the mpx220. Some have experienced having to recharge daily with only maybe an hour of talk time. How has yours performed so far?
