What distro should i go with.

Hello everyone, I want to get rid of my windows 2000 server as I feel it doesnt suit the needs of what i use it for. I need a distro that will run well on my p3-450 with 256 megs of ram. I need it to act as a router and to run the halflife dedicated server. I dont think that for my needs i...

Whats my computer trying to tell me

I posted this problem Here and since then have removed my pci 2 usb card. its not happening as often and its now showing me the blue screen i suppose may have been happening all along. the error message was to effect this Stop: 0x0000008E (0x80000003, 0xBFBA5108, 0xF49efa64, 0x00000000)...

Running CPU type processes on GPUs?

I dont know but my heatsink is rather large? and to start putting one on a pci card? there goes 3 slots.

My computer keeps rebooting

GF3 ti 200 128MB DDR? or GF3 ti 500 64MB DRR

Just wondering which of the two are the better card for my money. MSI MS-8850 GeForce3 TI200 128MB DDR VIVO RETAIL BOX or MSI MS-8853 GeForce3 TI500 64MB DDR AGP W/TV OUT OEM which is the better buy?

Painting cd-rom faces

I was wondering what the best way to go about removing a face plate from a cd rom drive is to paint it or should i just leave it on and do it on the drive directly? any advice / links would be greatly apprecated. thanks jeebus

what 5.1 Speakers to buy?

they are more then 300 dollars more than the ones that i listed so how bout of the 3 what speakers will be better? all the ones im looking at are under 200 canadian
